Suicide is one of the most difficult yet necessary conversations we can have. For too long, topics like suicidal thoughts, attempts, and loss have been wrapped in silence, stigma, and fear. This webinar is a safe, respectful space to begin unpacking this subject—with honesty, care, and hope.
This session is designed not to alarm, but to educate. We approach the topic of suicide from a mental health literacy and prevention perspective: what suicidal ideation is, why it happens, and how we can support both ourselves and others when these experiences come close.
Participants will gain:
A clearer understanding of the psychological and emotional roots of suicidal thoughts
Language and tools for having compassionate, non-judgmental conversations
Insight into how to respond when someone might be at risk
Suggestions for what support to seek, and where to turn—whether for yourself or someone you care about
We also explore how to navigate the impact of suicide on families, teams, and communities. Whether it’s supporting a loved one, grieving a loss, or simply wanting to be more informed, this session honors the emotional weight of the topic while offering grounded, practical guidance.
Importantly, this is not a clinical or diagnostic session—it is a conversation. One that aims to normalize talking about suicide in a way that promotes awareness, reduces shame, and fosters early intervention. Participants are not asked to share personal experiences but are encouraged to listen, learn, and reflect.
At Siffi, we believe that mental health safety includes talking openly—even about the hardest things. This session is for anyone who wants to approach the topic of suicide with greater understanding, sensitivity, and strength. You are not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this in silence.
